Training Philosophy
All dogs start with solid basic obedience training regardless of how they are going to be used or not be used. Before you can move on to more advanced training, a good foundation of basic obedience is essential. Dog training is a balancing act between firmness and appropriate praise. The dog, through repetition, always has good results. Handler patience is the number one requirement for each dog's eventual success.
Socializing with other dogs is an important piece to help your dog's overall development. You and your dog should be a team and as a teacher and coach, Gary will see that you, your dog and your family understand and use the team concepts that make good dog ownership.
